Carol, your milkshake brings all the guys to the yard. I'm in.

[She lets out a groan. A long, solid one.] Got any more before we have milkshakes?

Naw, that was the one good line I've got.

Thank the gods. Then yes, we're all clear for milkshakes. I know a diner not too far from here.

Is this a fancy milkshake place where I'm going to struggle between Banana peanutbutter chocolate or traditional Vanilla-strawberry-chocolate?

Not that fancy. But more than just chocolate or vanilla.

[He's still not quite getting it. Also, he's not sure what this milkshake thing is, but he's interested to find out.]

Well I'm in. Lead the way!

Let's go. I'm going to get one with a ton of chocolate.

To get a milkshake? Do you... do you know what that is?

I do not. [He admits but he's very curious to find out.] May I see you having one?

I dunno.. strawberry is awfully tempting. It's Hard to get strawberries in space. Chocolate at least has plastic wrapping and fits in a backpack.

That's a good point. Still, I love chocolate.

Uhhh, sure. I guess you can watch me eat a milkshake.

[He climbs up onto the nearest chair or stool, ready to watch.]

Humans persons eat the strangest things.

Really? Why do you say that? Do you eat different vastly different things?

Yes, much different.

[As he takes a few nuts from a nearby bowl. Nuts, as in the metal kind that usually go with a bolt. He seems to munch them down just fine.]

[Carol raises her eyebrows and then nods.]

Yeah, okay. Much different indeed. Do you get like, iron out of that?

Iron? [He questions.] It is food. I get to live out of it.

[Come on, he wants to see the shaking of the milk.]

Got it.

[Carol goes to scoop ice cream and pour some milk into a blender. Then she turns it on and waits for it to blend nicely.]

[He carefully touches the side of the blender while she's filling it, curious despite himself. But the second it starts whirring, he makes a distressed noise, turning yellow with fear and diving under the table to hide.]

Look out! It is coming to life!! It will be destroying us any moment!

[She turns off the blender and looks at him.] The blender? It's not coming to life. It's just really loud so it can... blend.
