Five more weeks away from home.

Why so long?

The season got extended. Which is great for the sport and I'm glad for it, but I also have a fiancee I need to think about now.

Thank you, Will. I'm just hoping Michael doesn't get upset about me being gone even longer now.

Do you think he might? Not as if it is your fault.

Oh, he wouldn't blame me. But six months of racing? That's half the year I wouldn't be around, and I don't want him to feel left behind or like he's not getting enough from me.

Guess you'll have to talk to him.

I know, I'm planning on it.

Guess I'm growing up. Two years ago I wouldn't have minded because I'd have nobody waiting for me. Now I'm feeling bad about it.
