Okay but just so you know I only meant it a little.

[She opens the door to her room, which has been completely burned out. All that's left is the twisted frame of her bed]

Blue Blazes!! Lynn, did you do this? Are you hurt?

Yeah, I did it but I didn't want to burn my whole room.

...Can you fix it?

I... don't think I can fix this.

...Did something happen?

I kind of had a bad dream.

...You want to come watch TV for a bit and lay on the couch until you can sleep again?

Okay. Are you scared of me now? Cause I had a dream about what's coming and there was fire.

I'm not scared of you.

I have a demon inside of my head.

And that's why you burned your room?

Sort of. I had a dream that the walls were bleeding and then a fire came. Then I woke up and He said that I could set a better fire than that so I was just going to burn the curtains some more and it got out of control.

[Rich gets a blanket from the other room and tucks her in on the sofa]

Can you promise me you won't set anything else on fire while we're here? I know its boring but it's safe and we don't have anywhere else to go right now.

Okay. I'll try really hard not to. Maybe my Dad can fix it. He won't get mad but Mom will.

[She settles, and yawns] I'm sorry.

[blue_blazes]

Trying hard is good for me. I'll try to talk to your mom about it.

[He turns down the TV and sits in one of the chairs]

Hey. We all screw up. Everyone I know with superpowers has screwed up at some point.

Thanks. It's harder with all of this stuff that keeps happening and what's going to happen. Did you ever screw up?

Yeah. I don't think anyone will be too mad. It's pretty stressful right now.

I used to screw up all the time. Still do sometimes.

[time_for_lynn]

You and my Mom should go flying and have a really nice time before everything happens. She doesn't think you screw up.

[blue_blazes]

That sounds nice. Not sure if we'll have the time with everything going on.

[He chuckles] She didn't know me when I was a teenager.
