[Snake has no consideration for other people trying to concentrate, least of all when he's in this mood. So he just walks straight up to Vahl, staring at him.]
[It's hard to catch Vahl unawares, but he's wearing an implant to hide his living presence from the enemy, and is attempting to locate a dream... so well done Snake, you managed it.]
[For a second he's unsure how to play this, then decides a grovelling apology will only be taken for weakness by the vampire.] Me. Indeed.
[He draws himself to his full height, being accustomed to using it to intimidate people. Not much chance of that with the tall vampire, but Vahl fixes him with steady stare.]
[He comes out quietly, or at least as quietly as he can, completely wrapped up to the nines, including a fuzzy hat that covers up his ears. It has two bobbles on it. Because Alec thought it was funny when he saw it. He's also got a cup of something hot in his hands. Smells like coffee.
He doesn't say anything. He just sits down, cross-legged and watches.]
[His eyes are closed for the moment, but after a little while, he can just about feel Alec's presence despite his focus, and the the implant. Vahl makes a heroic attempt to continue with his task.. but eventually has to look at his prospective Omega. When he does, it's with a wry little smile.]
The trouble with a god of the mind, it's hardly inspiring to watch him at work.
[One thing Alec didn't say is that he didn't mean to disturb Vahl because he had a feeling that the man would say he wasn't bothering him. Instead he took a sip of coffee and shrugged. ]
There are still things to look at. Body language. Stuff like that.
Gods alive, you stupid, conceited, suspicious arse. I could have broken your mind.
[Okay. At that a chuckle escapes him.] I was all for sitting down for a cosy chat.. you can put those down to a deranged mind who actually fears scorpions herself.
[Snake takes the insults without batting an eye. He's been called a lot worse.] Well, you didn't. You didn't even manage to actually get something from me.
[He's also not quite convinced the scorpions were Versha's idea.] Yeah, I wouldn't take credit for that either. Great team work though. I have to admit.
I don't know. I just sort of wanted to sit and watch.
[He's just so confused right now. And he thought if maybe he was just around Vahl it might help. He gives the man a bit of a sheepish look. It didn't seem like a good answer. ]
