She doesn't wish to disturb him while he's meditating, so Roxy simply sits nearby until he has finished. It's a matter of respect.

Luke opens his eyes after a long moment and smiles. "You are getting better with patience," he says with a smile. He eases himself to his feet with a soft groan.

[Reiko's silent as she walks up, keeping her distance. She takes a seat across from him. reaching out slightly, she touches the plants around them, gently coaxing them to be healthier.]

[Without opening his eyes or even seeming aware she's there, Luke speaks.]

The plants thank you for that.

"I have a rather patient teacher." She's up much quicker and with ease, oh the benefits of being in one's twenties.

Least I could do after the day I've had. [She grins a little, not opening her eyes.]

[Luke opens his eyes and twists slightly so that he's facing her.]

What happened?

"My teachers would find that phrase you just used amusing," Luke replied with a chuckle, "I was quite the hot head in my younger days."

Soldiers came to a village I was at, helping with an illness. [She looked down. All hints of the fake smiles she had been wearing gone.]

I was forced to take them out, they were killing innocents, I just lashed out.

By the time it was over, eight of us stood, seven children.

"Age has served you well in patience then." Roxy moves closer to him with a fond smile. "I caught a few fish for dinner." As if that's different from what one usually eats on a water planet.
