[Jay isn't expecting any texts, so when his phone notifies him of one late at night he assumes it is work related. Assuming he was being called in for a case but instead he sees who it is from. Where he would usually smile seeing her name and what she said, it just seems off given the time.]
[ooc - just a quick warning, I wanted to take Erin back to her dark place as all the current muses I have are all 'happy' and I wanted to write something a little different I hope you don't mind. Let me know if its something you wouldn't like to role-play and I can change my comment to something more positive.]
[When Steve returns home he'll be met with silence, Erin in their lounge lay face down on the couch a bottle of whiskey on the table surrounded by pictures of herself together with both Nadia and Steve respectively.]
[ooc - I apologise for how dark my replies are going to become. [Text]I'm at home, I've done something stupid, Megan... Call me.
[ooc - I apologise for how dark my replies are going to become especially considering that we have not role-played together before so im more then willing if its not something you like to play out to change the subject matter.]
[Just as Erin receives Jay's text she struggles to read the words that he'd typed - the message a blur. Fiddling with her phone she tries her best to call his mobile number as the realisation of she's done dawns on her. Trying to sit up Erin involuntarily feels her body lurching forward as she empties the contents of her stomach.]
[ooc - a little dark angst is all good. It is essentially their lives at times. We'll see how it progresses.]
[Jay becomes a bit worried when he doesn't get a text back, something that causes his brow to crease. He gets up and gets dressed. While she may not have messaged him back yet that first message had been a plea all its own, so he was going to go over any way. He heads out looking at his phone to check for a last minute text before he drives over to her place. He knocks and waits to hear anything.]
[ooc - that's what i like to hear and that is definately so true.]
[She'd managed to get herself from off the couch, her hands grabbing for any object she could get a good hold of as her flat span, Erin had managed to get to her bedroom and into the ensuite before the world grew dark. When Jay arrives he'll find Erin lay on the floor, in her hand a picture of herself, Nadia and Jay huddled at a booth at Molly's for a celebration drink when Nadia had decided to join the police force and her mobile clutched in her hand.]
[He lets himself in knowing she wouldn't be upset, or rather he hoped not. Just with no answer that did not sit well with him. He walked in and looked around, finding her easily.
The moment he sees her he knows all is not right in the world. Of course the first clue was her on the floor to begin with. He rushed over and checked to make sure she has a pulse. Once he found one however steady or slow it might be, it was a relief. He gently lifted her.
Carrying her to bed he went and got a cool clothe and began wiping her face off. All while trying to determine if this was something he could handle alone or if he needed to get the hospital (and be default Voight) involved in this. He does make sure the picture has traveled safely with them.]
[The last thing Erin can remember was the intense feeling of nausea and a sudden pressure to her head as she lay in the only comfortable position she could find with her left cheek on the bathroom floor, the coolness helping slightly.
The first little thing that she can remember is her body being lifted from the floor, at least Erin thinks that was what was happening as the pressure she'd felt earlier had been relieved slightly. At the cool clothe on her face she begins to wake but not for long as she's soon met with darkness once again.]
[She seems alright for now so he saves her from Voight, for now. He knows it will be an obstacle to come, probably for both of them. Him for not calling him and letting him know. Right now though all he cares about is making sure she is alright. He checks on her often, applying that cool cloth several times through the time he spends there.
He does eventually text Hank and let him know, knowing he had best do so. He brought in a chair set up beside her bed, taking quick drifting naps here and there.]
[Upon opening her eyes Erin notices that her surroundings have changed from what she can make out as her head pounds as it had done before however she finds she's able to see a little clearer now. Erin had previously been on her couch but now she found herself on her bed with no recollection of how she got there until she notices Jay asleep besides her. It takes the little energy she has left in her to reach out to him for her hand to fail instead falling limply at his side. Trying for a second time Erin finds that she's successful in placing her hand on his knee.
She hopes that its enough to wake him as Erin begins to feel her body shutting down again.]
[At his kindness and his words Erins pain filled cries and sobs echo around the room, failing at trying to sit herself into an upwards position.
With how calm Jay has been Erin knows that hasn't understood exactly what she had done this evening. Puling herself together for a second she asks for him to look into her bag knowing that he'll find an empty prescription bottle. She had hoped that the pain she had felt before would have disappeared by now however at this present point in time Erin was coming to the realisation again that it hadn't, her body betraying her as she begins to cry again unsure of how to stop.]
[He eyes her a moment before standing walking over to her bag. Once he finds the pill bottle she'd know by the way he mutters something, she catches the words damn it and fuck for sure. There is no question now, she most likely needs a doctor and so he does what one might be surprised by.
He's just lucky enough to be related to one. He calls Will and asks him to come over. He'd be able to better assess the situation than Jay could. He walks back in setting the bottle down. So much going through his head at the moment but able to not yell at her. That won't help things.]
[Erin must have tired herself out as she slowly feels herself drifting to sleep her arms wrapped around her waist however with each attempt she fails at keeping her eyes open, no matter how hard Erin tries to keep her focus on Jay and the surroundings around them.
[He lets Will in when he arrives and he looks Erin over. The brothers speak a bit before Will has to go. He tells Jay to call him if he needs him again.
Jay stays close to Erin just in case she calls for him.]
[the last thing she remembers is Will coming to check her over before sleep overcomes her and she's parted with the words of 'I'm here Erin.' When she awakes her hand has somehow found its way entwined with Jays, a cold sweat breaking out as Erin gently untangled her fingers from his and made her way into the bathroom to empty her stomach for one last time. Taking a few minutes to herself Erin sits on the end of the tub which is where Jay will find her once he awakens, some colour back in her cheeks.]
[Jay wakes up after letting himself actually rest to find Erin gone. He glances around before grabbing a cold bottled water and finding her in the bathroom. He holds out the bottle of water to her.]
[Taking the bottle from his hand Erin twists the tops and whimpers in gratitude to the water that gladly smacks at her lips, shying behind her hair she speaks] You must hate me... I guess.
