That was an insult for anyone who wants to say an insult for me taking a three day weekend.

You all take an awful lot of weekends.

When have you known me to take a weekend?

But so many are absent, are they not?

Yes. Vacations. I didn't take one. There's so much work to do.

Babies do take quite a lot of effort.

Yes, they do. I raised Lynn by myself. If you need a break, the nurses here will take the baby for a while.

A curse? ...Has anyone become ill? [She takes a sip of the milk, testing to see if it has gone sour]

Marcus will assist me if I need anything. [She seems confident of that. She does however, look delighted when Janie offers the bracelette and takes it without hesitation.]

[Fiona hums it a little tune and tucks the sprig of thyme into the blankets better]
