I've burned soup before.

I didn't burn it. I set it on fire. The liquid bit. Was on fire.

I didn't do it on purpose. And my cooking skills aren't that bad... it's just my powers occasionally... get in the way.

I'm honestly not that bad of a cook. Just sometimes, more often than I care to admit, my powers get in the way.

Fires. Plural. Huge messes of flour and/or batter and/or butter alllll over every surface possible. I was eventually banned from the kitchen as a kid.

Eggshells in pancakes. Wrong ingredients. Wrong conversions because this planet can't figure out if it wants metric or not.

I don't know what button on the stove does what. And is it a stove or an oven? Who knows and who cares? I use the microwave, toaster, and coffeemaker, and that's all I need to know.

I'm a permanent bachelorette, so that's fitting. I know all my favorite delivery places and they know me. What else could a girl want?

Nothing really important. Just having one of those 'my powers can be really damn annoying because they fuck around with stuff I want to do' moments.

Does it get better as you get older?

Accident would be the answer. Uncontrollable powers would be the cause.

Oh, no droids totally count. Especially since you don't have to worry about them stealing your shit.

Oh, no, these are good neighbors. The kids are scouts and all that crap. I buy lots of scout cookies from them and whatever else they have, and I pay them good to keep an eye on the place whenever I'm away. Nothing's ever gone missing cause of them and the mom knows there'd be hell to pay if there was.

Oh, believe me, I've been trying to get a handle on these powers for years now. The problem is they're chaos based which means that they're not really the sort you can get a true hand on.
