Bloody world doesn't deserve savin', sometimes.
Why? There's always going to be bad apples, but the world isn't a horrible place.
Eh, it puts on a passable makeup job. But you see the rotten underbelly, and it's hard to unsee it.
I've seen rotten things, and I still disagree.
Then you haven't seen rotten enough, love. An' with any luck, you won't have to.
What's so bad that makes you think the world doesn't need saving?

My stepmother says that all politicians are the same, bought and paid for by the same people. They meet up in hotels in places like Las Vegas with big business owners who write all of the laws. The elections are just a sham to keep the public happy.
Your stepmother's about half right, at least.
Most of 'em are bought and paid for. Part of 'em is, anyway.

[She's quiet for a moment, choosing her next words carefully.] I've got two questions. Are you one of them? Did she send you?
That can be arranged... But, first, you'd have t'tell me your name.
One of the ones buying politicians? [he laughs] Fuck, no. I'm a wanker, but I'm no demon.
