Literally. Like. I literally found a bunch of old black bones and a pile of secrets.

How does one have a pile of secrets?

[She's quiet] Whose bones are they?

[janee]

[Janie is too, for a moment. Then she digs into a pocket and takes out a simple diamond wedding ring.]

Out of all the memories I could have got back, I got this, and I don't want it anymore. Before I- oh god. Before I met vampire you, I got married, but if those are his bones then he really is dead and he's not coming back.

Did you kill him?

I shot him in the chest.

What did you do with the body? ...What am I supposed to do with it??!

I don't know! I took him back in time and threw him in the swamp! I'll take them... further back. I'm going to jail. They're going to put me in the chair.

I think the better question is what am I supposed to do with them? I don't want them!

You're not going to jail! I'm not going to tell anyone! We just need to figure out how to get rid of them for good.

I don't know! I just want to forget! [She tries to turn the bones to dust, and they just get blacker]

No!

....Okay now I'm officially freaking out about this. Why didn't that work?

If I knew I would tell you! I would make them go away! Why did you dig them up???

I didn't dig them up I tripped over them!

Are the secrets interesting, at least?

Not... really. It's everything from the time some guy kicked his neighbour's dog as a kid to cheating on spouses. Mostly horrible stuff.

[Janie looks really lost, really scared for a moment. ]

[She starts to pick up the bones one by one, and put them on a pillowcase]

I'm sorry to drag you in all of this.

You are buying me a really really good bottle of vodak after this so I can drink until I forget.

[And then she starts to help pick up the bones and get them on the pillowcase]
