"It will be entirely my pleasure, I am sure." And he is right on time. Like Swiss army watch he was not a moment too soon nor too late. She let her eyes boldly wander over the cut of his suit. After all his choices were on display and that display was being assessed no less for its taste as it were...well, his taste.
In her dark dress Catherine looked like she near floated out to meet him in the middle of her foyer. It was vintage and she fully expected him to notice who designed it. After all, it was someone very near and dear to his heart.
"I hope that you have bought me something interesting to digest?"
I consider myself a curator of some of the finest cuts and vintages. Aged to perfection and from the finest stock. I admit, my tastes are quite particular and very refined. But it's the joy of the hunting down such treasures that makes them taste best, I think.
The hunting is sometimes the best part, yes. *For a moment his eyes are far away as he remembers his favorite hunts.* But the eating, that is always wonderful.
He did notice, and he smiled. "I certainly hope so. You look magnificent in that dress, Miss Volanges. It is from my Mother's Winter collection 1986. 'Sut' nochi.' The Essence of Night." The black silk floated around her as she moved making her look as if she were floating in the darkness.
"Yes. And the show was quite memorable as well." She said with a small private smile. "I took this out of the vault. There are some designs that I have curated over the years and kept safe." This vault was the size of two large rooms and looked like a museum inside. "Some history is worth preserving. Your mother," Catherine began, "had not only a great eye for detail, but had the ability to cut lines into fabric in such an artful manner that the folds just fell into place without have to coax a stitch into place."
"Apéritif?" She asked while walking over to the bar.

"There is truth to that. Well, for the time being my hunger is satiated but my curiosity is simmering. Who are you?"
