Sweden celebrates Sveriges nationaldag, though it is not really founded in a bloody battle the way it is elsewhere. Well .. Hmm. Swedes did not start celebrating our "independence" until since the 1980s, though the day we celebrate was the result of the Stockholm Bloodbath and subsequent election of King Gustav Vasa .. so, I guess ours is based off of a bloody history, as well. Just ... hundreds of years later.

Do you? I have heard mixed things from my friends. Some thoroughly loved it, have continued to be in it for many, many years. I do not expect they will leave it any time soon. Others were ... very damaged, very broken.
[A slight frown.] I - Hm. I was going to say that I am sorry to hear that, but I feel as though it is something you would rather not hear. It would not be because of pity, but .. sympathy, perhaps.
I believe I have friends who fit your situation, though. Very much so.
[He blinks.] I .. imagine there would be many, who when faced with a survival situation, would have also eaten another person. It isn't .. unheard of. Though, I don't know how many would admit they found it good, if they had. .... What did it taste like?
