Sent him flowers. Hoping he noticed.

Did you remember to put your name on the card? I didn't when I sent flowers and it led to an awkward conversation.

I did. I haven't heard from him, though, so I'm nervous.

I'm sorry. Anything I can do to help?

You won't die alone. I'm sure he's busy.

Can I have his name and address? Maybe I can check on him, make sure he didn't get kidnapped or anything.

You don't need to do that. If he wants to call, he will eventually; if he doesn't it wouldn't surprise me.

Why would that surprise you? You're a very attractive woman.

There's a lot more to a relationship than looks.

I have a very difficult job that requires a lot of travel and a lot of time intensive work.

I know the feeling. So do I and so does my wife.

sorta. Different fields, so we don't see each other often.

See, I date outside my line of work. Which makes it difficult to maintain or even start a relationship.

What do you do?

I'm a racing driver.

Sounds about as stressful as my job
