They'd have to be pretty powerful, magically speaking. And if they're able to successfully bind me---there's not much I can except, make life difficult for them.

If they're unsuccessful, I dissuade them from trying that crap again.

Usually, if they're smart enough to do a binding, they are pretty quick with the list of "you can never"-dos.

Oddly enough, killing them is top of the list.

Doesn't mean I can't make them miserable!

Not killing them directly is one thing. Unless they're very smart indeed, however, they're unlikely to be able to ban every way you could cause their deaths.
