He's not worried about himself. In his metal form, he doesn't need to breathe. He should have little trouble digging his way out. But that won't be true for any of these other people.]

[Trying really hard not to smile, he claps slowly.]

[She can't run at the moment, so she crawls for safety, as fast as she can]

[Piotr gives the absolutely angriest glare he can.]

If you cannot actually help me hold this up, then grab someone who can't run out and leave.

[A huge portion of the wall cracks, but it does not fall - invisible force holds it in place.] What the shit happened here?

[Quickly. Crawl quickly.]

[He would normally be helping her leave, but she's not the only one and their best chance is him holding the building up as long as he can.]

Bomb. I am not sure who.

[Consider his tits slowly calming. He nods gratefully towards the show of force.]

Are you a telepath too? [Can he search to see if there's people still in there is what he's asking. Can he perhaps do something to help them as well.

Even between the two of them, this building is not long for the world. If it falls on Piotr, he'll be fine. Not many other people can claim that.]

[He nods once, scanning to see who is left in the building. Not many - the few nearby that he feels are taking too long he simply throws out onto the street telekinetically. He's not really gentle.]

I'm guessing we want to save the injured and unconscious.

[She's trying! She makes it out, but she's one of the last people to do so]

Almost everyone is out. If you hadn't come along we all would be dead.

[The alternative is being crushed to death. He's not going to sweat the small stuff at this point.]

I don't need to breathe in this form. [To talk, yes, but not to live.] If the building falls on me, I will survive.

[Which means, he's staying right here until it actually does.]

[The building will not hold much longer. About thirty seconds later, it will finally collapse completely and Piotr will be buried, seemingly completely.

If she sticks around for 3-4 minutes afterwards, he'll poke his head out and slowly wade through the wreckage.]

[His head tilts to the right.] Jesus, to be a hero...

Fine, we'll save the civilians. Give me five.

[He's off and running. A few minutes later, his 'voice' can be heard mentally.]

~Let it drop.~

[Piotr does just that, poking out from the wreckage about a minute or so later, shaking off bits of rock.]

[He shifts back to his regular, human form, and tries to shake off some of the dust as well.]

[She watches it fall, and is horrified as the man who saved them all is buried by the building.]

He's alive! You're alive! Someone help him!

[Piotr shrugs off the remnant of the wreckage and stands before Cassandra. His clothes are pretty shredded, but he seems otherwise all right.]

I am fine. Are you?

[He shifts back to his fleshy form, taking a deep breath. He's not bleeding or anything.]

[She look relieved that he doesn't seem to be injured.]

My leg is hurt, but I'll be fine. Thank goodness you're alright.

...You still look alright, and everyone here owes you their lives. You were here at just the right time.

I am not easily hurt. [He shakes off a bit of the dust.]

I am glad I could help. It sounded like a bomb went off.

[He looks at the wreckage of the building, narrowing his eyes a little.]

You should get your leg looked at. I can take you to the hospital if you need.

Come on, big boy, we're not done yet. One of the injured saw a delivery guy before all this shit happened, propping a package up by the south wall. Looks like that's where our explosion happened.

[Piotr shifts back into his metallic form.]

Lead the way.

[He's fairly used to being told that it's not over yet. It comes with the territory.]

A bomb? It- yes, I heard a really loud boom, but who would blow up a community center?

[Cassie looks over at it too, and frowns. She spent a lot of time there]

My- Oh, I'm sure it will heal in a few days.

I know of people who might do that. But why this one, I do not know. I will try to find out.

Are you certain about that? [He's not going to force her, it doesn't look life or death or anything, but he'd prefer she saw a doctor as soon as possible.]

[Matthew snorts.] You know, as much as I think that trick is super fucking cool? Let's aim for inconspicuous. We're gonna head south - ask every fucking street vendor we see if they saw a delivery guy in a hurry.

[Piotr shifts back. He'll do his best, though he's hardly inconspicuous anyway, being over six and a half feet tall and massively muscled. People never believe him when he says his favorite hobbies are painting and gardening.]
