Touring, actually... I'm a singer. Right now I'm playing shows in New York... the crowds are pretty decent for a Japanese unknown, so I'm happy. *smiles*

What was that you were speaking? I understand Earth languages but I can't place them.

*leans against the wall and crosses her ankles* Japanese. I'm from Tokyo, Japan. Though lately here I've been playing a lot of shows in New York City so I've been speaking English almost exclusively. Trying to extend my audience outside of Japan.

Ah. I haven't had the privilege of visiting Earth yet, but my father traveled all over for years and years. He has a lot of interesting stories about Asia and Europe especially.

I won't lie, it's a culture shock for most but those who visit either love it or hate it.

*grins* Well, I imagine just being on Earth will be a culture shock when I get to visit after the war, but Tokyo will definitely be on the list.

A parallel world... that is an interesting concept. Admittedly, I'm not familiar with that kind of thing, I am your run-of-the-mill Earthling. A little wilder and naughtier than most, but normal in the grand scheme of things.

I don't really understand it either. I only know because my father spent years travelling around looking for Alyss. Normal. I would trade my homburg to be normal. *a beat* No. I like my homburg too much. I'd trade my wrist blades, though.
