I don't know. I just feel so blah recently. [Shakes her head.] You know I leave for a whole new racing season in two weeks and I feel like other than you, nobody would care.
I know. And I'd take you with me if I thought you wanted to spend six months on the road. [Exhales.] I don't want my life to be like this, Tommy. I want to have a life outside of my job with friends and a family and...
But I don't know. Maybe racing is just the only place I belong.
Of course I wouldn't. At this point I could probably even get you a job. [Laughs.] You keep telling me I need a business manager and now I'm going to have a lot more to do and a lot more money coming in.
I'm leaving for the airport at nine. I'm staying with my parents, but we can totally get a hotel if you're more comfortable...I mean you know my dad. I don't think he's seen you in awhile.
Of course they don't mind. Just I'm sorry if dad gives you any grief about before. I think the last time he saw you was when you were still being an asshat.
