(no subject)

Beauty inherent, everywhere that we look.

...I don't think that I agree, Miss.

That beauty is rare, and very fragile. It's destroyed, generally, and leaves behind echoes and reminders of what was. The world is dark, dangerous. Beauty can't get a proper foothold.

Not in Wonderland. Not since Redd. No children born, no soldiers coming home. Only women dying and soldiers marching to war. And now the imagination is dead. *makes a face* The thoughts won't come.

Oh yes. I agree. Beauty can be found everywhere.

Thank you. It's not hard to find it, really. All one has to do is look around. I've never understood those that find darkness everywhere.

Having found beauty in a great tragedy, I must agree with you.

[identity profile] sarahnotlaura.livejournal.com 2007-09-21 11:51 pm (UTC)(link)
It is, but it made me appreciate what I did have more than ever.

What a beautiful turn of phrase you have. I quite agree with you.

Lo list it all would take centuries. The Universe is full of beauty. If I might be permitted I would start my list with the beauty of the lady standing before me.

*bows slightly* Thank you, my lady.

I do enjoy your country, on those occasions when I have the time to take in the sights. Paris is a special favorite of mine.

I did have a spot of bother there once, though. Someone thought my head would be better off seperated from the rest of me and tried to introduce me to the guillotine.

[identity profile] ancient-hearts.livejournal.com 2007-09-22 04:55 am (UTC)(link)
Don't let it trouble you. Things, as you can see, turned out well. Besides, I was a different person then.

*scratches head*

Yes, that part always is a bit difficult to explain. Usually i wait too long and it's such a shock when it happens. You see, I have this little trick when it comes to escaping death. I change every cell in my body. It's called regeneration.

*squints eyes8

Do I know you? I would think I would remember if our paths had crossed before.

[identity profile] ancient-hearts.livejournal.com 2007-09-22 05:18 am (UTC)(link)
You are a very wise woman. Yes, it must be a future me that has the pleasure of your acquaintance. It's wonderful knowing I have that introduction to look foreward to.

We are friends, aren't we? You haven't tried to kill me yet or thrown anything at me, so I assume we are.

[identity profile] ancient-hearts.livejournal.com 2007-09-22 09:05 pm (UTC)(link)
That is a relief. I would hate to think we we're anything but friends.

I do have a certain flair, not matter the face I am wearing.

Is it? *wryly* Perhaps you could point me in the direction of this 'everywhere'? I certainly do not see it.

[identity profile] a-deaths-head.livejournal.com 2007-09-22 02:58 pm (UTC)(link)
Not found so much as ... stolen.

Beauty's inside, outside and all around.
