[He orders his drink and returns attention to her across from him.]

Did you find anything interesting? Although interesting might at least spice up my life a little.

[She hasn't been hiding the fact that she's complacent.]

I did actually.

[He smiled and passed his findings over to her. She may find it interesting. He leaned back looking at her a moment.]

What would spice up your life?

[She read over the file for a moment, arching an eyebrow at what she saw before she set it aside. She'd take it back to the office.]

I'm not sure. I was thinking about taking a vacation, but it's not fun to go alone.

[And here, kind of a joke.]

Don't worry, I won't ask you to go with me. You do enough for me.

Where would you go?

[He chuckled softly before joking back.]

Would you want to see that much of me?

Someplace with a very comfortable bed and a hot tub.

[Laughs softly.]

You'd just end up in the bed with me. Especially if I'd had a few glasses of wine.

Then you'd be seeing a lot of me in that case.

[Chuckles. Aside from being significantly younger than he was, she knew that being name partner plus her close relationship with her boss turned off most guys.]

But I do owe you one for finding this. I appreciate it, more than you know.

Why do you think that? Is it the fact I am too old?

[He enjoyed teasing her and smiled.]

You don't owe me for that its what you hired me for.

I was gonna say I'm too young. You know I just turned 29.

[She laughs and takes another drink. If he wanted to flirt she'd let him. It wasn't like she had a lot of male attention.]

Cole loves to tease me about turning 30 next year and how I'm going to get old. Never mind that he's 34.

You are only ever as old as you feel. I feel fantastic so guess I'm not really that old.

In that case I'm probably older than you.

[Chuckles. All that she had been through to get to the top was wearing on her. But she didn't speak of that, choosing to joke again instead.]

That's really why you were late, right? Wanted to have me thinking about you?

[He smirked over his glass as he took a drink.]

For an old lady then you are definitely sexy.

It's all that hydrating.

[She smiled back as she finished her wine.]

So what are you doing after lunch?

I have no plans unless you need me to do anything else.

No, you've done more than enough. I'll go over this and see where it leads.

[Chuckles.]

Well now you've got my mind wandering to my dry spell so I don't know.

We all go through dry spells. Just need to find someone to turn on that wetness.

Still not your type, Jason. And definitely my sex life or lack thereof isn't something we should be talking about in public.

[Note that she didn't say she wouldn't talk to him in private. Just not where something could get back to someone.]

[He took another drink before leaning back watching her.]

[Since obviously the office wasn't that private either. But she trusted him, just didn't want to potentially embarrass herself. And after what he'd seen in that file she had nothing left to hide from him.]

I never did ask you if you're seeing anyone.

I don't think you've ever seen my apartment.

[But she was happy to get lunch boxed up and take him there. He would see where her concerns came from. Even her apartment was big, white and kind of empty. Nat turned to face him then once she locked the door.]
