It's not your fault, Mario. I just don't want anyone to be upset. And I can see a few reasons why they'd be upset.

I don't want anyone you work with to think you're sleeping with me to get ahead, or that I'm taking advantage of you.

There's my ex I have to tell. And Ed, I haven't figured out to break the news to him yet. Aside from how he'll probably say it's against hospital rules.

That doesn't mean I don't care about you. It's just hard to figure out how to do this.

Ed and I are very close. As in, we almost dated but he wasn't ready.

I just don't want it to be uncomfortable for you. I still care about him very much, and I don't want you to be blindsided either. I don't want us to have any secrets.
