[Smiles softly.]

Just life. Sometimes I look at the patients I lose, and the things I lost, and it gets to me. When you're around, you make it feel better.

[She still loves him like crazy and that will never change.]

How are you, Tommy? All right?

Well then I should take you out to dinner and spend the night together.

[He smiled gently and kissed her softly.]

I'm doing good.

I'd really like that. And good, you deserve everything. More than I can ever give you.

[She kissed him back, closing her eyes and savoring it.]

I was hoping you still wanted me.

Oh I definitely still want you, Kari.

When are you off tonight? I'll come by the club.

You can stop by the club any time. I'll always make time for you.

Let me get changed and I'll come over. I want to look good.

[She was still self-conscious about being around him and wanting to look good enough when people saw them together.]

[Kari would walk in an hour later. She had on a little red dress, not intentionally sexy but something simple that fit her curves nicely, and had put her hair up. She made her way to the bar to let him know she was there, but he'd see in her eyes that she was different. Being without him had definitely brought down her mood.]

Hi, Tommy. I can wait if you need to finish up.

[Tommy smiled when he saw her, and he always enjoyed watching her walk towards him. It had been awhile since they had time together and he was going to do his best to remedy that.

He stepped around the bar and walked over to her slipping his arm around her, standing close. His smile just bright.]

Oh no. I'm ready now.

You're always so charming.

[It made a pink blush appear on her cheeks to complement the red of her dress. Tommy had always melted Kari's hard exterior. But right now she didn't need to flirt with him, she just wanted to appreciate him.]

How has everything been here? I'm sorry I haven't been by more often, just problems at work and with some friends.

It's been busy here too so you have nothing to apologize for, but since you did? I'll apologize for my part and not coming around to see you as well.

We can change that. You will always be my first priority.

[He smiles taking her hand and walking with her.]
