A pupil of mine. He struggles at times, but he's made me proud nonetheless.

He won a very important tournament to protect our home, and he holds true to his beliefs.

Indeed they don't, but they can be used to prevent a war.

Never once seen a true conflict settled by such a proxy before, sai. Not in my memories an' not in sai Flagg's--although he himself might be the reason he never saw such, I admit.

I wouldn't know who Flagg is, or was, but a little help from some Elder gods and magic to bind the one trying to attack our realm goes a long way.

Flagg be an evil bastard o' a man that I killed in self-defense when I was much younger than I be today.

I be a telepath, ya ken? So . . . easiest way ta put it, if not totally accurate, be that when nearby folken's lives flash before their eyes I be stuck lookin' over their shoulders. An' sai Flagg was the sort o' fellow whose reaction ta such a thing would be ta curse the whole event so as any that tried ta judge it would lose the ability ta ken names an' faces. Probably permanently, at that.
