My brother. He didn't drink himself silly and came back home in good time. Though of course he had to fell a sarcastic comment about it. Still, it's progress to me.
I worked hard. Got a stipend, got good grades, built a network. Maybe had a bit of luck too. Met a wonderful woman. You can do whatever you want if you put your mind to it.
Thank you. You need a certain drive to make it in this world. Unfortunately. Hence why I've started volunteering to help kids whom grew up in a bad situation back on track.
I can understand a brother wanting to do that. My sister is always looking out for me and keeping me out of trouble. Not that I get into it but it seems to find me!
Then all my brothers would lash out. All of us had terrible childhoods, all of us got neglected at one point or another. But I don't see them breaking into government buildings for sabotage.

You are doing something now, I think that counts for a lot. As does having a family that cares.

...You lost a brother? That must be terrible, I’m so sorry.

Losing family is very hard, no matter how long ago it was. I know from experience.

You still have a family.
I’m really glad your brother is okay. I worry, sometimes.

He has had it tough, tougher than most of us I reckon, being one of youngest.

Congratulations! I’m wonderful at watching children, if you ever have need.
It’s important that he knows that you’re there, even if he messes up. The stability is important.

Sometimes I wonder if he'd rather that I didn't. But then I say "suck it up". He's still my baby bro.

I cared for my stepsisters children, and was a party princess... I know all too well how much of a handful they can be.
To be honest, you’re probably correct, but family is there for you even when you want to be left alone. That’s how it imagine it, anyway.

Leaving didn't help the family either. I had to do something.

Did leaving help anything?
