Alright, have you had any experience fixing motors?
I say don't lie, but put a positive spin on it. So you'd say somet'ing like, "I've fixed up several on my own, but there's still lots I could learn, which is why I'm looking to apprentice." You see? Honesty is better, but self deprecation can come off as shit skills.
