[She sniffs his coffee. Clearly he's added something a little extra to it.]
Seriously? [Guess who is being a grumpy pants?] You're drinking and it's like, 10 am in the morning. [Her eyes widen.] OhmyGod....OH. MY. God. [Meep!] I just sounded like every person over 40 that I know! [Er, like...a parent?]
Gimmie that! [She grabs his cup and downs it. Obviously the responsible "parent".]
That's, like, the worst contradiction in terms, ever. [Don't do that! Nope, look away, look away. Not the little lip wibble! Stay strong. Stay. Strong. Dammit Klaus.]
Donald Trump being the champion for family values is the biggest contradiction. Mine makes sense if you observe the coffee to booze ratio. For example, there is coffee at all. You’re welcome.
Speak for yourself. I’m a great dancer. [Klaus dances a bit and eh. Maybe it’s more impressive with music.]
You ever been to the meeting on 4th? Yeesh. [He wipes his hands on his pants then offers one to shake.] I’m Klaus no last name. Gotta keep it anonymous. [Whispers that last part.]
You can't come up with a better fantasy than that? [He kisses her finger and steals back his cup]
[He looks down at his name and grins.] Oh hey! Those are my plans later. That and a crank.
Talk about the worst shit you did drunk, the people you pushed away, the god you pretend cares for you. [Klaus shrugs and takes her arm to steer them back to the coffee.] It's basically a miserable shit show but what the court order wants, the court order gets. I'm too pretty for prison.
[Vincent is giving him a doubtful look] That's not really how it works but...
I mean okay. The handcuff thing I get... But cops? I'd be too afraid they were going to kill me. You can just get someone to play a cop. All the uniform kink and none of the ending up murdered in a police cell that tends to happen.
[He snorts.] They won’t kill me. They know me. Everybody in this town knows me. I’m a little shocked that you don’t know me but how could I not forgive that face?
[She relinquishes the cup with a smirk.] Nothing that I can think of before 12 pm. [She allows herself to be led back to the coffee machine and begins refilling his cup. She shakes her head.] Nope, I can't do this at this ungodly hour.
[She slips out a thin flask - completely unhelpful - and tries to spirit away a sip as covertly as she could before chasing it with caffeine.]
