[The smell coming from Nathanos is more than enough for the young lady to tell that this guy is indeed an undead.
She smiles a bit nervously towards him. I hope he doesn't think of me as a snack. This better not be a trap.]
...Quite a question. Although, finding out and knowing the answer depends on what happened, and which reality an undead person comes from.
[Mari's been semi-familiar with other worlds, and meeting people from them. There's one world that's basically similar like hers. Some friends she briefly knew kill some very aggressive undead, vicious mutant monsters for a living.]
[Whew. That's a relief. She's already got more than enough problems, and enemies in her life.
In her experiences with the other worldly, a friendly undead guy would be a rarity.]
In my world, Earth, there are no walking dead. Certainly not that I know of, but there have been documented cases of haunted houses, and other ghost encounters.
Possibly great on your part, yeah, but not quite as great from my view point, as a living person. Though, I have my parents and close friends to trust and rely on. So it's not too bad.
[She smiles in curious interest upon the undead warrior's introduction.] Hey, it's nice to meet you too. Wow, that's quite a title. You defeated a banshee? I didn't know there were royal ones.
Sounds like you've got all the company a mortal could need.
Oh, no. I could never defeat her. I would never want to. It is an honor to serve my lady. She...sought me out at my lowest and chose me to be her trusted right hand.
[He's definitely undead, but his chest puffs up a little at that. Yes, he is actually proud of himself and his position at her side.]
There is only one royal banshee and she is Sylvanas Windrunner. There are no others that even compare.
Yeah. It'd be better if there wasn't so much toxicity from people in media, and politics. Then maybe I could have less trust issues around most, at my Earth. Less of a complicated hassle.
[No doubt some of what she said would puzzle Nathanos, as she couldn't fully suppress her resentment and contempt towards most people, over there.]
Your world no sounds very different from mine. I never met any banshees, but the really old written myths or stories don't have anything good to say about them.
Maybe humans, even from way back when, had been quick to judge, and assume the worst.

Isn't it?
Yes...I suppose there are all those factors to consider. What would you say the case is in your world?

[He's clearly not biased at all.]
