[Reno turned as he heard the door opening, followed by the kid's voice. He squinted at the unexpected visitor... and not only felt confused.]
...Not what I was expecting either. How'd you get past security on this floor?
[Underneath his suspicion, he was starting to feel a sense of uneasiness. There was a weird feeling of de`javu lingering in his consciousness. The memory of when one of the ShinRa HQ elevators had temporarily changed into a portal--
Wait, was that even fixed?! It should've been by now. Right? Not that he was alone in averting a crisis from happening. The board of directors wouldn't ever know what happened. There was a friend who had helped him return to his world. Someone who knew of him and his world that he trusted, and helped him come up with a decent, and believable enough alibi to keep anybody from using that particular public elevator for a short while.
On the other hand, this could be some trouble-maker. A thrill-seeker who thought it'd be fun to sneak by the Turks' offices.
The boy's answer would determine which of the two possibilities were more likely.]
[A crimson brow raises a little as he softly scoffs. From the boy's expression, Reno's started to think that maybe this could be just some trouble making runt of a kid.
Well, part of him is hopeful for that to be true.]
Vampires? Don't those exist in novels?
Pretty sure we don't gotta worry about those around here.
[He was certain that no such monster was imprisoned in the labs... Reno cocks his head to the side a little.] If you tell me how you snuck in here, I can promise you your parents won't have to be notified.
I'll let you off with a warning this time, instead. Deal?
[He isn't about to harm a mischievous kid. Reno remembers he used to do some dumb and crazy things that young, just to impress some peers he knew at school.]
