So what's your favourite music, or song?

"Wish You Were Here".

I'll listen to a lot of stuff, but Pink Floyd has a special place in my heart.

My Floyd is 'Sheep'. There's a elegant brilliance to that song, course I'm bias as 'Animals' is probably one of my most played albums.

That's the kind of music my parents listen to.

That hurts my soul.

How old are you!?

Sorry. I wasn't trying to offend. My mom's cool most of the time, and I only listen to old bands when with her.

I'm seventeen. Just a high schooler who's got a more modern music taste.

No, no I’m not offended. I’m just, humbled? I guess that’s a more appropriate word.

So what do you listen to then?

In my car or around friends, I listen to modern rap trash, and some various bands like the Gin Blossoms, Foo Fighters, Sevendust, and AFI.

Rap Trash, that's new to me.

So you like the higher energy stuff?

Oh, that's what my dad would usually call it. Stuff like Eminem, and others.

[He laughs.] Yeah. The more energetic music, but not because I care about fitting in.

[I only fit in to not get caught by Mr. Horn-Rimmed Glasses again, or anyone like him, West keeps to himself.]

Most parents don't understand what their kids listen to. But that's cross generational.

As most don't at 17. I know I certainly different but that was, well, over thirty years ago.

I know, right? That's typical for a lot of families.

So, you're thirty-something years old?

I think so. I’ve never had kids so I wouldn’t know. My mum didn’t much care what I listened to, neither did my aunt or uncle.

I'm Gabriel, or Gabe and I am admittedly old enough to be your dad so I suppose I'm unsurprised I listen to your moms music. But one of my favourite angry day songs is 'Break Stuff' so I'm not all classic rock.

Break Stuff? Who sings that? I'm not sure I remember.

Limp Bizkit. Its kinda the same, in some ways.

I honestly don't listen to much Bizkit. Their cover of "Behind Blue Eyes" is not bad, and the only other song I like is "My Way."
