Oh, the usual October madness. Werewolves. Witches. Demons. Vampires. Dumb kids who think following the directions in that one old spell book are a good idea.
I do believe they are often given several names. The Harvest Moon is before the Hunter's Moon, which is also called the Blood Moon. Though Blood Moon is far more ominous sounding then I would like.
[A sigh. Of course.] I wish I had that kind of optimism. While many didn't choose to become monsters, seeing fellow human beings as food, not as equals, does things to a person's judgement. It takes a lot to come back from that.
I hate to say that isn't my concern, but when the people killing innocent humans have the strength, stamina, and weapons to do it easily and efficiently, I'm not entirely given to charity.
And those who don't harm people are not my concern, as well. I have enough problems without picking battles needlessly.
It's been a long time since I hunted anything more than food, so I'll have to bow to your opinion there. I've had precious few dealings with anyone intent on hunting me. [ And by that he means precisely one: it ended with a dead body on his inventory room floor. ]
I've always been partial to the winter moons, myself. Perhaps because I was a winter child.
