Mod Post
I've seen too much of this lately. The Meta, ooc posts that deal with directing things to a specific mun, or attacking people and their play in fandoms. Please avoid making these posts which I find unneeded. This community is wank free that means no attacking of people for the fandoms they play, how they play their characters, or attacking or directing things at certain muns.
I will delete posts like that. Read the rules, no wank is no wank. No attacking of players means NO attacking of players veiled or not.
Here are things you can do:
If you can't help it and have issues with someone and want to rant? Keep it out of the community and take it to
bad_rpers_suck it's what the comm is for.
Also if you are on the opposite end of that and want to praise? Again keep it out of this community and take it to

OOC
Can we get a mod definition on what precisely constitutes wank? Just so everyone is on the same page and that way, if personal definitions agree, we have a mod definition to refer to?
Re: OOC
you people pee on my fandoms.
That is an attack on players and how they play characters that the person does not like.
Posts signaling out certain muns or directed at putting down certain muns. The rules are simple, no attacking of other players. You don't like their pups fine keep it to yourself. There is no need to call people out in the comm, I see no reason for it.
Not everyone is going to like how a pup is played, and not all muns get along. It doesn't need dragged out into the comm for everyone else to see.
Re: OOC
Or, say, a general reminder to muns to keep the canons their OCs are supposed to go into in mind? Not a particular fandom, just in general? Would that be considered wank or..?

To be fair, I think you're right and I have since gone to BRPS to vent my issues. So, I'm sorry about that and it won't happen again.

I find it refreshing. Sometimes you just need people to slap your hand for you. (In regard to wank.)

In a lot of posts I'll see actions. In others, I'll see IC references to 'posts' and 'icons'.
Is there a standard or a default for which the interaction normally is, or is it just something you glean as you go? I usually delineate text posts from in-person posts via font and icons, but I just wanted to make sure that I'm not 'doing it wrong' since I am a relative n00b here. :)

it depends entirely on the player.
some assume that this is an internet message board their characters access via livejournal.
others assume it's an actual physical place that they're standing and talking to each other in.
and usually you can't tell until someone does an action or makes a reference to 'icons' or being on the internets. so there's really no way to do it wrong!
