It's the same principle as suspecting family members or spouses in the murder of a love one. You could be innocent, but an investigation has to start somewhere. It's not exactly PC, but that's how it is sometimes.

How about it starts with the crime scene? I don't live in Chicago, nor do I have occasion to visit there. I'm also only half ogre, which means that any ogre related crimes would have very little to do with me. I present as completely human, I always have.

From what I've read on the Fae, you guys aren't exactly trust worthy.

A lot of people I know are from different worlds. I'm learning everything I can about where they're from.

Most vampires can choose to use human blood or animal, those who can't can choose to take willing donors or forcing themselves on other.

That's not what I asked.

I asked if a vampire chooses to need blood, not what sort he may choose to consume.

I'm addressing the inherent moral quandary that humans seem to find with vampirism, which is the only problem with needing blood. Of course they don't choose. They can choose to be controlled by it or not.

It's not exactly control if you can choose to ignore it.
