I have a choice in this. You didn't. You never knew.

You know, Peter and Parkman and all of us? Our abilities came in later than yours. Then look at the Walker kid. What if yours came in when hers did and you were forever ten or twelve or whatever she is.

If I had been in that high school instead of the man I was? Things would have been different.
