Of a sort, though I suppose it would be more accurate to call it a token of friendship.

I would say both are too intimate and may give the friend in question false notions about your intentions.

However, if it is one or the other; certain colors denote friendship in flowers. Yellow, especially.

I'd go with the first answer. It depends what you're trying to do. Chocolate will make you feel better; flowers will also tell a message.

Appreciation is good. *smiles* Follow your heart, I think that's the best guide.
