Why?

Why not? I'm not a pessimist.

I'm just saying, why bother? You're only setting yourself up for disappointment. So why not believe the worst, and if you get the best then you're lucky and won't be let down at all.

Because believing the worst means that I don't have faith that things will work out.

Things always work out one way or another.

Sometimes they work out in a good way, and sometimes in a bad way.

I try to look for the good in the bad things. I can't always find it.

I believe that he tries to help. His mind works differently, so some of his actions might not be entirely logical.

He's strong, and I think that he underestimates his power.

He had also 'helped' a woman by turning the iron she was poisoned with into... something else poisonous.

I'm not sure how to explain. It can kill and cause cancer, among other things.
