A what?

It's like a restaurant that doesn't require you to do anything.

And it's my idea and if Dick tries to pass it off as his I'll kick him in the knee.

How would it work?

Like a vending machine. Except instead of just snacks, you can get an entire meal.

I'm brilliant. I know.

Could it work, though? Is it possible?

Yes! It's very possible.

Why wouldn't it work?

I'm sure it would be.

....what's an automat?

An automated restaurant. Put money in: get food out. No hostess, waitresses, or cooks required.

I say we make one.

Hm, it's an interesting plan. Not unlike some of the stuff here... though none of it seems related to food prep...

See, the city... Atlantis. It... responds to a certain gene. If you have the gene the city responds to your thoughts and will open doors and whatever else you ask it to (within reason). You might be able to apply a similar principle only with cash... but who knows, I'm clearly not a scientist.
