Far better women than you tried.

Look for them now.

Have tried what, dear cousin?

I can't believe anyone would even try. Silly women.

Perhaps just not the right one has tried.

Oooo, I like that! Can I quote you?

Does this mean visitors are going to be tripping over the vengeful suicidal corpses at your door again?

I'll say.

A good thing. Otherwise there might be a pile of them out there.

*His expression is unreadable*

Hmm, thoughtful, I suppose.

Did you hear about this business with the gods gearing up for war?

[identity profile] egypt-dies.livejournal.com 2008-09-04 07:45 pm (UTC)(link)
Agreed on all counts.

I've just been trying to fathom the strategy of the other side. What's the purpose of an attack on one of the patron gods of war, besides inciting war? Why have their attacks been so random and clumsy?

An why have the generals been so eager to declare their allegiance in public?

It all makes me wonder if people forgot how to wage war.

Locked from here on out, because this general has a touch of good sense

What sort of special arrangements are you referring to?

How vague of you.
