My darling Antony, the gods are much like unruly children playing in the streets. Today they are squabbling, tomorrow they will be fighting each other or someone new. Besides, mortals who don't pay proper tribute or who dare to cross the gods are foolish.

I've just been trying to fathom the strategy of the other side. What's the purpose of an attack on one of the patron gods of war, besides inciting war? Why have their attacks been so random and clumsy?

An why have the generals been so eager to declare their allegiance in public?

It all makes me wonder if people forgot how to wage war.
