*smiles* Yes, it is. I make my careful, educated appraisal and two crazy collectors getting into a bidding war throw that out of the water. Then my fellow appraisers all call me and yell at me for letting it get that far.

Add to that the way people don't understand that a vase made in a lot of 60,000 is going to be worth less than an individually made piece.... *sighs*

They look pretty good. I bet I could talk a friend of mine into parting with a few things to test out the market.

Oh, that I can understand, I deal in a lot of bulk selling to doctors. I'm a pharmacutical sales rep around this area.

Some people have a natural skill at it, and some have to build up their salesmanship. I'm one of the later myself. I've been working for Central Coast for almost ten years.

We're actually very, well I wouldn't say widely known, but we have a solid reputation. Shawn and I have worked for the police department on a number of cases and always helped close them.

Its a show, on BBC america, there's this host, Alister, who helps people raise money by going through their house looking for antique things. Then they get sold at an auction, and it can get pretty intense.

I suppose my mother raised me this way. I'll set aside a few extra blankets for you. Santa Barbara is nice this time of the year though, well... it's always nice actually. And there are some great resturants with spicy food that I'm sure you'll like.
