(no subject)

Maybe I should take up sidekicking.

I wouldn't recommend it. Rotten hours, lousy pay, rotten benefits....

Sometimes the support is the hardest part. Because they're out there doing whatever they do and you're back behind the lines waiting for it to go wrong and believe me, it goes wrong more often than it goes right.

It can be really rewarding. It can also break your heart. If you're gonna do it; be durable.

Good.

Unofficially since my last year of junior high. Officially, about 4 years now. I'm Chloe by the way.

You know, I never thought about it, but yes I guess I've got sidekick experience!

My hero's very much of the super powered variety. I freelance sometimes with others who are the same and one who's non-powered just crazy skilled.

The first one I've been friends with long before I knew there was anything different about him. So it just kind of clicked when I found out his secret.

The other ones I stumbled into meeting through him.

As long as you keep your pride and let them know you're as important as your partner, all good.

[identity profile] bgus.livejournal.com 2008-09-04 10:04 pm (UTC)(link)
Excellent! That's the spirit! Your partner is a boy or a girl?

[identity profile] bgus.livejournal.com 2008-09-04 10:07 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, that depends on the field your work in. What are you good at?

[identity profile] bgus.livejournal.com 2008-09-04 10:19 pm (UTC)(link)
*smiles* That sounds amazing. Haven't you ever consider being the heroine yourself isntead of just the sidekick?

[identity profile] bgus.livejournal.com 2008-09-04 10:34 pm (UTC)(link)
Maybe you should put a better ad. Something like "Sidekick looks for strong superheroe".

[identity profile] bgus.livejournal.com 2008-09-04 10:59 pm (UTC)(link)
*laughs* Sounds good enough.

*smiles* Burton Guster. But everyone just calls me Gus. Nice to meet you, Amy. Good luck with your job-hunting.

I could use a sidekick. Possibly. What sort of powers do you have?

[identity profile] idontpaint.livejournal.com 2008-09-04 10:45 pm (UTC)(link)
How delightfully vague.

I'm Iron Man and... well, I don't have powers per se. I just have a high-tech suit and a lot of weapons. And I can fly.

[identity profile] idontpaint.livejournal.com 2008-09-04 10:50 pm (UTC)(link)
I see. Well, I could do that too but it's more fun to fly on your own outside of plane.

And I'm Tony Stark. It's nice to meet you. So far anyway.

No, no and no. I do laugh sometimes, but mine is not an evil laugh.
