(no subject)

Saying what you mean is hard?

At least twenty-three hours out of every day.

Well, I'm a reporter. That's my excuse. I can't speak for anyone else.

No one usually cares to know.

People only give a damn about what I say, not what I mean.

They'd never know.

I dunno, 'cause sometimes what you really mean is ...mean. Or not appropriate. So you have to say it slantwise.

Well, you're a special one, then.

Oh me say perfectly what me mean! You just been living under rock! Ha ha ha!

Sometimes you think one thing, but say something else. I believe it is called a "disconnect". Sometimes you overthink the words you want to use, so that none of them are of any use.

Does that make sense?

You are quite welcome. Unfortunately it is something that happens to me often.

I get flustered easily. It also does not help that this is not my primary language.

There are things I love about both. Sometimes, though, I feel uncomfortable here because I do not have the right reactions to things or people have reactions I do not expect.
