...well, like non-violent men who'd rather settle things with a game of rock, paper, scissors... but you get the idea. *grins* How've you been Mrs.. um Dr.... ah, Madeleine? *still isn't used to calling her by the first name*
Well obviously your son did, there's really no getting around the truth of that. I'm sorry to have to tell you, Maddie, Shawn is a cheater cheater pumpkin eater.
I'm doing pretty well actually, no issues with work, Shawn or otherwise. Not since I had to kick his ass correct his missasumptions on certain things.
*laughs* Things haven't really changed much, have they? *smiles* I'm glad to hear you two are the same as always. I feel better knowing you're still there taking care ofnext to my son.
No, they really haven't. I guess that's a good thing. Oh, you know I'll always be here, and it looks like he's going to be around for a while too. Well if there is one change lately, it's that Shawn's been more reliable than I've ever seen before. Hmm.
Changes aren't always bad, Gus. Look at it, you think "realiable" isn't good? He finally found something he enjoys doing, and can do with you. And you have something that takes out that other side of yours that only Shawn sees. It's a win-win, and a very nice thing for both your lifes.
I'm glad that Shawn's happy with what we're doing, I really am. But it's hard to get over the thought that it could all change back just as easily. Even now, it's been two years of working with him and I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop, if you know what I mean. I just have this feeling that something big is going to happen, and I don't know what.
But that's how life works, Gus. You can't not-do things because of the posibility they could go wrong, then you wouldn't get out of your house. I know my son is a completely different matter, but... I think one of the reasons he gets to do stuff the "normal" way is because you're there to anchor him, honey. Never forget that.
You were pouting. You were playing with your food and flashing the lower lip of the pouting doom. Of course you were jealous. Which is silly, considering you´re absolutely right thinking that there´s no reason to be jealous of Jules anyway.
But I don´t know, maybe we´ll get a chance to go on a psychic stakeout togheter soon.
ooc: Don´t worry! I´ve already seen it on Saturday. And damn, how I squealed "jealous!" at Gus on that scene! XD
Of course I was right! But I wasn't playing with my food, Shawn. Nor was I pouting. If I was doing anything I was possibly expressing a slight concern that you hadn't thought I was useful for the case, even though I had a test to take anyway! So, really, none of that was my fault.
.... So, O'Hara's got this minor case that's she's leading on her own while I catch up on paperwork. Apparently the Chief signed her off on recruiting Psych's services, but I heard through the grapevine that you're too busy with some test or something, so it's just her and Spencer....
It was an important test! I couldn't just ignore it to chase down some roller rink amazons, now could I?! Besides I was there! I helped, I knocked down the big one.

Just call me Maddie, Gus. *smiles* I've been great. Travelling around USA always relaxed me, and it's been a while. How're you doing?

Amazons was the tamest word I could think of, those girls were bloodthirsty.

O'Hara included.

Juliet is spirited that's for sure, and maybe gets into things a little too much, but she's not like them.
