Havin' trouble, darlin'?

There's a short list of heads I'd like to bash in, yes. ~~Starting with my mun's.~~

I'm gonna go hide my tools. How about you tell me what's wrong while I do that? ~~But then she couldn't write you anymore. I'd be sad.~~

*pinches the bridge of her nose in pure irritable fury* ~~This is true. Ah well. I'll settle for giving her headaches.~~

A young man of my acquaintance ~~and in a totally other AU~~ has been put through an emotional wringer these past few weeks, and then everyone wonders why he runs and hides once they start talking about the deaths of his nearest and dearest. Again. Or still, I haven't figured out which.

Well, you know what I've always said, common sense ain't so common. You keep an eye on him and I'm sure he'll get his confidence back.

I certainly intend to. *sighs*

*kisses her forehead* It'll be alright, darlin'. You'll see.

*slides her arms around his waist, snuggling into him* I hope so.

*hugs her* How you doin' otherwise?

*sighs* Otherwise, surprisingly all right. I think Ive been waiting for the other shoe to drop, although this may count as both of them.

Generally when thing get rough around here, they get really rough. You need any help?

I know, love. It's been something of a mess. Solace and her family needed something of a... not a mediator but perhaps a counselor.

What's going on exactly?

Too much speculation, too much dwelling on dark events that may or may not come to past, and...

... in his own way, Stephen is emotionally crippled. He does not cope well with certain shocks, actualized or no. In this case, Solace's death, or that of his friend.

Have you expressed your concern to any of them?
