As comfortable as a pair of sneakers? No. However, some of the better brands, I'll spare you the names, do put a lot of thought and engineering into their shoes. And the really high ones are usually for special occasions.
((Completely off topic but unlike some other shows, I can't recall many of the actresses on Doctor Who wearing anything but sensible shoes. It's kind of refreshing. >_>))
What's so special about an occasion where you have to twist the bones of your feet like that??

((OOC: Oh, but you must see the classic series. They wear horrible shoes, but it's often mentioned that they're miserable for it. In "The Stones of Blood" in series 17, the Doctor actually makes a point of telling Romana that her shoes are really impractical and she ends up stuck in the mud because of them.))
((OOC: I know public television plays Old Skool at midnight on Saturdays and BBC 3 is showing reruns. But Sci-Fi is seriously playing wrestling? WTF?))
I maybe (http://www.net-a-porter.com/product/33537) possibly have (http://www.net-a-porter.com/product/35563) a similar problem (http://www.net-a-porter.com/product/33436)
No. I do keep most of my shoes organized by season and only bring them out at certain times of the year. I keep ten to twelve pairs out at any one time.
I work for X-Corporation in New York City and am with X-Factor part-time. I'd like to think that I have more common sense than to wear high-heels to that gig.
It's a bit more complicated than that. We're located in what everyone refers to not so affectionately as Mutant Town. Some things come up that other organizations can't or won't help with and that's what we deal with.

Usually, I'm not required to do a lot of running when I wear shoes like that. Usually.

How can you see them as pretty? Proper boots, those are pretty.

Because they are. I suppose it defies explanation.

((I have not seen any of the Old Who. I wish the Sci-Fi network would show them though but instead they'd rather broadcast wrestling. D:))
