*chuckles* Do you know, that's the first time someone's ever said that to me?

Always glad to be the first... *holds out a hand to shake* Dennis.

You like to set the bar then? *smiles and shakes his hand* Carson.

Carson.. interesting name for a girl... *ponders this, clinking his bottle against hers* I like owning a bar, you're welcome there anytime.

Aye, it is, isn't it? *grins softly* ...actually that's a kind offer, I may have to take you up on it.

*glows!* Well what can I say, I'm a nice guy. *takes a swig!* So what's that accent? Ireland?

Scottland. *holds up the whiskey* Occasionally I feel the need ta be reminded of home.

Oh... With all the kilts and stuff? Cool. *shrugs, taking another swig*

So what brings you.. around here?

Aye, I have a few of them myself. *downs a rather large swallow before answering* ..oh, I just needed to be away from the usual people for a bit. And you?

*looks interested at THAT* Really.. hm.. *scoots a little closer*

Huh? Oh... yeah, same.

Oh, yes, it's a family tradition. I couldnae get away from them even if I wanted to. But I really dunna mind them, they're more comfortable than most people realise. *glances down as he scoots closer, but doesn't comment*

...well, I'm glad we've both succeeded.

Oh, god, don't talk to me about family... my dad and sister keep trying to be part of "the gang" when they're so not. *rolls his eyes, biting his lip as he looks over at Carson*

I am too.

*laughs* Och, I have a lot of siblings... I know what it can be like when they all seem to take an interest in nosing into your business. *smiles warmly and offers the whiskey* Would you like to try some?

She's our bartender. *shrugs, nodding as he sets his beer aside and takes a long sip from the bottle*

...Smooth.

I'm lucky enough not to have to work with them. *reaches over and picks up his beer and take a swig of it, teasingly makes a face* ...passable. *smiles and sets the beer back down* No, it's not half bad, but I think I prefer mine.

*shrugs, still grinning like a loon* It's just Bud, nothing special... you, on the other hand...

*reaches up a hand to skim over her cheek*

*blushes amazingly red and ducks into the hand a bit* I'm starting to think we've both had a wee bit much to drink.

Maybe you have. *laughs, hoping so...* That was my first beer. *gestures to the Bud, totally lying*

Och, than maybe it's just me. *chuckles because, yeah a few too many* But that's alright, I wasn't expecting.... well, I guess tonight is just full of unexpected...ness.

*sits down next to Carson, a little frazzled, sighs*

Would you mind sharing sharing some of that with me?

*hands the whiskey over without a problem*

*he scratches his head, making his unkempt hair look even worse before taking a sip of the whisky*

*glances over, taking in his appearence and frowning in concern*

When was the last time you got any sleep, Radek?

*takes another sip and shrugs*

When did Sheppard give me the genetic manipulation device?

That was... days ago, Radek. *puts a hand on his shoulder*

You didn't need to loose sleep over it, really.

*puts down the glass of whisky and pulls off his glasses, rubbing the bridge of his nose*

No wonder I can't concentrate. Really, what day is it?

Don't worry, I managed to fall asleep in front of my computer at least twice before General O'Neill visited. *most likely catnaps, Carson, Radek is a light sleeper!*

It's thursday, and that is far too long to go without sleep in a bed. *gets up and offers a hand to Radek*

I'm taking you to your quarters, Zelenka. Don't argue with me. *has the serious!doctor face*

Thursday? *tiredly mutters something in Czech*

I have one last simulation to run on the computer and then I can sleep. *weakly tries to argue, then takes Carson's hand*

Aye. *gives him a pull up, not as strongly as he could normally, but enough to help*

I'm sure it can wait till the morning. *smiles softly, Carson's looking after someone and it makes him feel more like himself than he has all day.*

*it's not difficult for Carson to pull up the short Czech, even in a female body. Radek stands and follows the doctor*

Yes, I suppose it could, Sergeant Stackhouse is having a field day with his new body. *tired!Radek is tired, revealing that*

ooc: couldn't resist. Radek has to experiment on someone while the rescue mission goes forward... ;D

*listens and then pauses* ..He is? *curious!Carson wants to know just what kind of a field day there is to be had* That must be a handful. *laughs lightly and falls into step beside the Czech just in case he needs a shoulder to lean on*

*Radek rubs his eyes as he walks down the corridors to his quarters, partly out of tiredness and partly out of disbelief*

The Sergeant volunteered himself quite readily when I mentioned need for a test subject while you are off rescuing Rodney. *he shakes his head* Said something about fantasy or dream with a female Sergeant on base.

*and Carson's "handful" comment passes right over the tired Czech's head*

*has trouble holding back a rather big grin* Och, well I'm happy someone seemed to find something pleasent out of the experiance.

And how is the test going? I hope the lad isn't suffering an ill effects otherwise. *strolls easy by Radek's side comfortable with the scientist that could either be from knowing him for as long as they have, or maybe the whiskey Carson had been drinking*

*sighs* Everyone seems to get pleasant experience here except myself, Carson.

*brightens up a little at Carson's inquiry about the tests, though he is still tired-eyed* Well enough as can be expected. I have to wait for device to charge completely before attempting to *Czech word for switch back* ...um, cha-change the body back.

One more cup of coffee and I think I could get last simulation running on computer. *Radek must be tired, his English grammar is getting worse...*

Some of us have gotten a rather unpleasent experience out of this too, Radek. *just says it sympathetically and puts a hand on his shoulder again*

Sounds like you've got things well taken care of, my friend. *smiles* I knew you could, and thank you. I think it will be nice for everything to be back to normal again.

*hesitates and shakes his head* ...I really think you should sleep, Radek. That's more important than anything else, we've been like this for a while, one more day isn't going to hurt.
