Tough day at the office, my dear?

I am sorry to hear that, Duo. I know how tough that is.

God, that is horrible, how were you involved with their other son's death?

[identity profile] detoliviasvu.livejournal.com 2008-09-14 01:27 am (UTC)(link)
Ah yes, that would do it, but in that kind of a situation, what can you do? It's not like you can just shake hands and walk away, he was trying to kill you too.

Maybe he hasn't gotten over the lost of his first son.

You can't begin to assume that, people react differently to death and loss. Don't let him get to you, he speaks out of anger and hurt. The only thing to do is just be a bigger man and walk away. Though that isn't easy, I know.

I know, I know. *Puts hand on shoulder gently.* News like that is never easy, and reactions are even less so.

I guess a lot of people don't.

Hey, no problem, I like to listen, I hear I am good at it.

Having trouble with someone?

What happened to it being the family's grief?

Your Gundam?..............Was his older son an innocent life?

[identity profile] det-lassiter.livejournal.com 2008-09-17 04:13 pm (UTC)(link)
You can't condition your son to be a cop soldier and then bite off the Head Detective's head complain when a gun gets pointed at him he gets killed in a war. Unfortunately, your guy's not the only one like it. No matter who they are, parents always seem to think these things happen to other people's kids. He's not causing you any trouble, is he?

(ooc: As if Lassy could set the old guy straight.... XD)
