You sorta got the idea.

Basically to play, you can either say the parts of the movie you'd keep. Or you can alter the movie so it ends real quickly.

Say the movie you chose was 'The 40 Year Old Virgin.' You just have the guy hop a plane to Vegas and sleep with a hooker.

Ok - Tropic Thunder. They hired a decent director, the movie gets made ahead of schedule and Tom Cruise still gets to do his dance because he's happy.
