The games don't have names as such. They're a test of the human survival instinct, which is sadly lacking in most people. Each is unique to the individual who plays it, and the common theme is "live or die, make your choice".

Hell, that sounds more interesting to watch then any of the shit on television right now. Not that we know exactly what's on it anyway considering we put a couple dozen bullet holes through it last month, but there was never anything good on it anyway, simply everyone going on and on about how wonderful the Bat is..*looks quite murderous for a moment*

But we digress..

Is there any particular rhyme or reason when it comes to picking contestants for these 'games'?

I'd say it's certainly more interesting than television. I like to watch the games in progress when I can. *smirks*

And yes, the people I choose are those who waste their lives, who are ungrateful and unappreciative of their existence.
