I live in Vegas and I've never been anywhere in the city but this casino and the airport. I'm not allowed to go to New York. I got to go to Texas once and that was boring. Then overseas, but that's it.

Dating is always nice. And lends itself to dinner and dancing.

I know you said they watch you, but have you ever tried to find a way out of the casino?

Not since I was fourteen. We got more cameras then.

I just figured once I got to eighteen I'd walk out.

And how long is that?

This winter. I'm done with high school. I have my diploma. If I was more normal I'd have started college this month. I had thought to but dad noted that at my age, I couldn't without his permission. So I'm waiting for next year.

He says everything will be changed by then.

That's not that long.

It's possible it will be.

Feels like forever when you have no freedom.
