I've got my hands full all on my own, but can I ask why she is being disowned?

Me and my mom were at her house yesterday, visiting, and she decided to open her big fat mouth.

...Usually mothers are happy that their daughters are dating someone responsible like a cop. Why the strong reaction from Mom?

Yea...we really have. Her family lived in our building. We were quite inseparable. Which led to a lot of trouble.
