Some guy from the middle ages told me I shouldn't be a doctor that I should be at home looking after my kids.

Whoa. Easy now, doc. You know that's total bs.

I know it is but..it was hard enough being the youngest at med school but to hear someone turn around and say something like that to me. Because I'm a woman I should be married and looking after the home.

{sits down on one of the stools}

Not at all, you are allowed to express your opinions, madam, as I am allowed to express mine. And that was all it was, an opinion. It was not my intent to insult you.

I'm not saying you don't have your own and I shouldn't have my own. Part of it made me think.

*frowns* About... motherhood?

About family and the importance of carrying on the family line. I lost my mom a few years back so she'll never be a grandmother if I ever have children. Plus I'm an only child so carrying on the family line falls to me.
