It may be problematic at times, but I think it's good to have. In a, metaphorically of course, "kill or be killed" world, a sharp tongue is a good defense.

I do not wish to attack anyone, particularly someone who does not thoroughly deserve it.

It was my leniency that caused Miss Bennet to find me so utterly repulsive. It appears there is no correcting such an absolute deficiency of character.
